Ancient ruins can be found scattered about the Lental region in New Pokémon Snap. They can be recorded in the Photodex by taking a photo of them.
Many of the ancient structures and buildings found all over Lental are so worn that it's impossible to know what they originally looked like. It's said that these ruins are somehow connected to the legends of the region.
In New Pokémon Snap
Photos of ancient ruins are stored in a separate section of the Photodex and are not awarded a score.
Registering all 12 ruins awards the player with the "Historian" research title.
