Weakening Fire (Japanese: ほのお攻撃時攻撃↓Attack Reduction During Fire Attack) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands a Fire-type attack on the target, it has a chance of lowering the target's Attack by one stat rank. The skill can range from Weakening Fire 1 to Weakening Fire 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Weakening Fire 9 will always lower the target's Attack. Currently, only Weakening Fire 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
