Wait, what am I missing here? How does the official site's page for Tapu Lele confirm that it learns Psychic Terrain? Near as I can tell, all it does is state that its Ability sets up Psychic Terrain, and then explain the effects of Psychic Terrain. It doesn't say that Tapu Lele actually learns Psychic Terrain. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 04:08, 30 October 2016 (UTC)

Psychic Terrain is a move that no Pokémon was previously able to learn, and using it will boost the power of any Psychic-type moves used by Pokémon on the ground and prevent them from being hit by priority moves. [1] --Abcboy (talk) 04:40, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
...Oh. Yeah, that'd do it. I'm gonna take this as my cue to get some sleep. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 04:58, 30 October 2016 (UTC)

update 2: how do I add images to the info box? Reshiespeon (talk) 15:23, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

update 3 (when will this end): I tried to upload an image I got for the page from my media but it isn't showing up. Reshiespeon (talk) 15:26, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

Images are uploaded at the archives. Just create an account over there, and after you're autoconfirmed, then you can upload the image.--ForceFire 15:55, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

I have an account there now. How do I upload the image to it, though? Reshiespeon (talk) 16:06, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

On the left side of the page there just be a navigation box, under the "tool" box there's a link that say "upload media". Note that you must be autoconfirmed before you can actually upload images (to be autoconfirmed you have to have been an active user over there for some time and make an unidentifiable amount of edits to the archives).--ForceFire 16:13, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

Research

I don't understand the research question. "Does it affect Pokemon in semi-invulnerable turn" How should it? Moves with semi invulnerable turn are not Psychic type, none of the moves that can hit a Pokemon in SIT are Psychic, and none of them is Status to test Prankster. (Aside from Toxic coming from a Pranskter Poison-type Pokemon I assume...) I'll gladly test whether this works but I need to know what to test. Or is it Mind Reader+priority move? Can anyone give an example how to test it? Thanks. KingisNitro (talk) 19:18, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

For example, you could test No Guard Machop's Bullet Punch or Honedge's Shadow Sneak on Lunala/Drampa using Fly when there is a Psychic Terrain.--Den Zen 22:36, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

Blocked moves

Internally, there are two different kinds of moves that target all Pokémon: moves that affect the whole field, and moves that affect every Pokémon individually. If boosted by Prankster, moves that target every Pokémon on the field individually (Perish Song, Rototiller, and Flower Shield only), the user's grounded opponents will surround themselves in Psychic Terrain to block the move. However, for moves that affect the entire field (every other move with this targeting), Pokémon cannot surround themselves in Psychic Terrain against that move.

Similarly, all moves that target all opponents (as opposed to all adjacent opponents) at once are entry hazard moves, which all affect an entire side of the field rather than each Pokémon individually, so they are not blocked by Psychic Terrain if boosted by Prankster.

A similar distinction exists for moves that target the user and all allies (Aromatherapy, Gear Up, Heal Bell, and Magnetic Flux being the only moves to target every ally individually), but that's not relevant to Psychic Terrain since only opponent's moves can be blocked by it. --SnorlaxMonster 09:13, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
