Sand Force (Japanese すなのちから Sand Power) is an ability introduced in Generation V. Fourteen Pokémon can have this ability.

Effect

In battle

Sand Power raises the power of Rock, Ground, and Template:Type2 moves by 30% while a Sandstorm is in effect. It also gives the user immunity to damage from Sandstorm.

Outside of battle

Currently, its outside of battle effects are unknown.
