The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version (Japanese: ポケットモンスター オメガルビー・アルファサファイア 特別体験版 Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version) is a special, expanded demo edition of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It will be a limited-release, unlimited-use demo that will only be downloadable on Nintendo's 3DS eShop, and will only be accessible via serial code. The serial code will be distributed around October 15, 2014, but the date my vary by country and provider.

Gameplay

The Demo Version features a unique scenario that begins in Mossdeep City, where Steven requests the player's assistance at the Mossdeep Space Center. The player is given a choice between Grovyle, Combusken, and Marshtomp to accompany them.

During the demo, the player will be able to encounter wild Pokémon native to Hoenn, such as Linoone, Slakoth, Loudred, and Nosepass. It is known that an all-new Mega Evolution will also appear in the scenario, which varies by region. The demo will also feature a Multi Battle against Aqua Admin Matt and Magma Admin Tabitha. Extra events and scenarios are said to appear if the player plays the demo multiple times.
