Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Animated Trailer (Japanese: 『ポケットモンスター オメガルビー・アルファサファイア』 メガスペシャルアニメーション Pocket Monsters Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Mega Special Animation) is a special trailer made to promote the release of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

It aired in Japan on November 16, 2014, later released on the Pokémon YouTube Channel the same day, and on the English Youtube Channel on November 20, 2014.

Plot

A shot of Mt. Chimney pans down to Littleroot Town as a Taillow flies down onto Brendan's house where he is shown to be sleeping in his bed. Treecko appears and climbs up a tree trunk onto a platform, before it jumps on Brendan's face, startling him to wake up, before climbing onto his shoulder and laughing. May is giving Mudkip a bath with Torchic on her shoulder, in which Mudkip splashes the two before Brendan appears and runs to May's house. The two Trainers pick the starter Pokémon up and smile.

A brief shot of the sky before a Youngster with a Zigzagoon is shown battling against Brendan and his Treecko. May and Torchic are surrounded in Petalburg Woods by two Wurmple, a Silcoon, a Cascoon, and a Shroomish, before Torchic fires a Fire-type attack, scaring them away. The scene changes to May and Mudkip in Rustboro Gym battling against Roxanne and her Nosepass, in which Mudkip evolves into Marshtomp mid-battle, exciting May. All three stages of the starter Pokémon are shown, before transitioning into a field with May and Brendan with the final stages of the Starters. They then Mega Evolve them, showcasing Mega Sceptile, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Swampert.

Various Mega Evolutions duos are then shown battling: Mega Diancie and Mega Gallade, Mega Salamence and Mega Pidgeot, Mega Glalie and Mega Steelix, Mega Camerupt and Mega Beedrill, Mega Slowbro and Mega Sharpedo, Mega Lopunny and Mega Sableye, and then Mega Altaria and Mega Audino participating in a Contest with May in her Contest outfit.

The scene changes to Brendan with his Mega Sceptile battling against Steven Stone and his Mega Metagross, transitioning to Brendan flying on Mega Latios and May on Mega Latias. Storm clouds appear and Primal Groudon rises from the ground and Primal Kyogre from the sea, before facing each other. Rayquaza is then show flying in space, before soaring to the ground in a purple beam of energy becoming Mega Rayquaza. The ending shot features May and Brendan with all the Mega Evolutions featured in the short.
