The Last Battle V (Japanese: 最終決戦V The Last Battle V) is the 171st round of the Pokémon Adventures manga.

After the crystal wall cuts the Mask of Ice in half, it is quickly shown to have survived. The Masked Man attacks Lt. Surge, while Raikou and Entei attack the Masked Man. Suddenly, Suicune becomes sick, as the Masked Man had his Gastly use Curse on it secretly. The Masked Man flies away, with Misty still trapped inside the crystal wall. Crystal leaves a injured Gold and starts banging on the crystal wall.

Suddenly, Misty starts to faint, but someone else is inside the crystal wall. Crystal then sees a hand holding a Clear Bell, and realizes that Eusine is saving Misty. After Eusine has his Electrode get Misty and Suicune out of the wall, they try to revive Misty. Meanwhile, Crystal goes back to get a wounded Gold, but discovers that he is missing.

Nearby, Falkner, Bugsy, Whitney, and Morty find the Pokémon Association Chairman, who informs them of the Mask's invincibility. Whitney realizes the identity of the Masked Man. Meanwhile, the Masked Man is being followed by Gold.
