A Little Kadabra'll Do It (Japanese: VSユンゲラー VS. Yungerer) is the thirty-second round of the Red, Green & Blue arc in the Pokémon Adventures manga.

Synopsis

Green discovers that Sabrina has Psychic powers and realizes that she doesn't stand a chance against her in battle. She has her Horsea use SmokeScreen to try and give her the edge, but Sabrina can still see her with her "mind's eye". To overcome this new obstacle, Green hides Clefairy and Jigglypuff's Poké Ball's in the chest of her dress and when Sabrina's Kadabra uses Slash on her, she unleashes the two Pokémon, who use Growl and Sing to disrupt Sabrina's "mind's eye." Green then steals the Marsh Badge and flees.

Meanwhile, Red finds a device which appears to be powered by seven Badges, known as the Pokémon Badge Energy Amplifier. He takes it and sees Sabrina, who sends two lower members of Team Rocket away. Red sends Pika to attack Sabrina, but it turns out that it is in fact Green, using her Ditto to disguise herself!

At the same time, Blue uses Koga's Golbat to locate his grandfather, Professor Oak, who is tied up by some boxes and reveals that the Team Rocket Triad were trying to pressure him into replacing their last scientist, who was working on a "horrific project". Blue and Oak leave together.

Red eventually agrees to give Green his Moon Stone in exchange for the Marsh Badge which she stole, but then reveals the Boulder Badge and Cascade Badge which she "returned" to him before to be fakes! Green steals the Amplifier, along with the rest of Red's Badges, which he had put in to the Amplifier and activates it. At the end of the Chapter, Sabrina summons Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.

Trivia

  • In the VIZ Media second edition, the scene where Green hides Poké Balls in her top is edited out. The dialog is changed to make the edited version make sense.
  • This round shares its Japanese title (VS. Yungerer) with Round 27.

Errors

  • In the VIZ Media second edition, some of Sabrina's and Green's text is switched around while they are battling, making it appear as if Green is laughing at Sabrina while being attacked.
