Sun (Japanese: サン Sun) is the male player character in Pokémon Sun and Moon. His female counterpart is Moon.

In the games

As the protagonist

Sun is a boy who recently moved from the Kanto region to Melemele Island in the Alola region. After moving in, he quickly befriends Hau. Early in his adventure, Sun meets the guardian deity of Melemele Island, Tapu Koko.
