EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua is the name given to the fourth main expansion of the EX Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as Magma VS Aqua: Two Ambitions, the fourth expansion in the Pokémon Card Game ADV Era. It is based on Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, featuring Generation III Pokémon and the two villainous team of the Hoenn region Team Magma and Team Aqua. The English expansion was released on March 15, 2004, while the Japanese expansion was released on October 24, 2003.
EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua introduced dual-type Pokémon, with Pokémon having Darkness as their secondary type in this expansion. It also featured the return of owner's cards.
