Trivia

Although this card's rarity in the English set is Common (it had been Uncommon in the Japanese set), it appears in the EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua set list above the Trainer cards of Uncommon rarity. Cards of Common rarity usually appear below those of Uncommon rarity in set lists, meaning it would make more sense with either a rarity of Rare or with a number of 84. Whether this odd quirk was intentional, an error, or an oversight is unknown. The card's Team Magma counterpart is also affected by this quirk.

Origin

This card is based on a male Team Aqua Grunt, a Trainer class in the Pokémon games.
