Confuse Ray (Japanese: あやしいひかり Doubtful Light) is a non-damaging Ghost-type move introduced in Generation I.
In the anime
The Pokémon issues a pink and white ray that confuses the foe.
Pokémon
Spoink. The ray is created in the pearl of its head after it glows with the same colors.
- Used by a wild Spoink in Pearls are a Spoink's Best Friend against James's Cacnea and Jessie's Dustox.
Effect
Generation I
Confuse Ray causes the opponent to become confused.
Confuse Ray will fail if the opponent has a Substitute or is already confused.
