Welcome!

-2009 October 9-I just got Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky for Christmas a while ago. So, I started using this site for the game, and I saw a lot of places(that I searched) that needed improvement with the info quality. Thus, I started an account here to help in with Project Locations.

' -2010 January 1-I'm also get both Pokémon Heartgold and Pokémon Soulsilver!! I will use this new games to post the pokemon info, area info, and, if I don't suck, pic's! I am also going to add item information from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, as when I needed item information myself, I didn't have it.

-2010 January 5-I'm also get both Pokémon Heartgold and Pokémon Soulsilver!! I will use this new games to post the pokemon info, area info, and, if I don't suck, pic's!

You need to sign with four tildes (~~~~). If you haven't customized your signature, it will come up with the default signature. If you wish to customize it, feel free to do so at the previous link. Please, keep the signature policy in mind. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 08:18, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Link Templates

Project pages are not in the mainspace, linking them as [[Project Locations]] creates a redlink that will be put on the Wanted Pages. In this case, you need to use {{bp}} ({{bp|Project Locations}}) which will look like "Project Locations". For a list of link templates to assist you in avoiding creating such redlinks, check the list of link templates. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 08:18, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Explorers of the Sky

The name of the game is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, not Explorers of Sky. Please link Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky instead of Explorers of Sky. Thank you!--GreenGyaradosHappy Holidays! 17:25, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Even though I disagree with what you're doing, if you're gonna do it, link to "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky" instead of "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky". Thanks! CuboneKing 05:14, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
There's no "the" in Explorers of Sky... ht14 05:16, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Sorry again, I'll fix it. i want things to be almost perfect. Besides, I have a lot of spare time on my hands. Thanks for the advice, it's really helpful. - unsigned comment from Spotman234 (talkcontribs)
No prob. Just two things in regards to talk pages. First, use colons (:) to start another line to speak. Second, use four tildes (~) to sign your name. Thanks. ht14 05:22, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

(Sorry, I'm just new. Well, thanks again! ~Spotman234~ 05:24, 2 January 2010 (UTC))

Comments from other users

Do not modify comments left by other users, unless it is to specifically fix/remove a linking error that causes problems with the wiki. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 05:06, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Hey

Please use link templates when linking to stuff such as Pokémon names, attacks, and the like. For example, {{p|Torkoal}} instead of just [[Torkoal]]. This is so you don't unintentionally link to a disambiguation page.

For a full crash course on link templates, look at the shortlinks. Note that all this is also mentioned in the welcome above. ht14 05:24, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh, okay, thank you.I'm sorry, I'm just trying to help. I'll read the wellcome page over more. ~Spotman234~ 06:40, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
No worries. Oh, the colon? I was just showing how it looks in parentheses. No need for that. ht14 06:42, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Your project

you cant start a project just like that. furthermore, what you want to do, is what Project Location's is for. if you want people to help, go to the project talk page, and talk about it there. -- MAGNEDETH 20:43, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

reverting me doesnt work. -- MAGNEDETH 06:32, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Darn. Oh well, so, can help me with starting a project? How do we do this exactly? Please e-mail me at [email protected] , I know that this is not the place to chat.~Spotman234~ 00:18, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

you should pitch the idea on the forums. -- MAGNEDETH 00:30, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Okay, that sounds easuer. Thnaks! - unsigned comment from Spotman234 (talkcontribs)

old comments and Boulder Quarry

Please don't reply to old comments. Those comments were made before the game was released, let alone announced in the United States of America. That's why there was a Japanese site rather than an English one, and why Optimatum thought that it was a sequel of the first two. Also, since you have the game, could you play the fourth special episode, get some information on the Pokémon in Boulder Quarry, and update the article? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 01:20, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Those comments on Talk:Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky are from a year ago... from when the game wasn't released anywhere. Please stop telling people to 'play the game first' if they couldn't. ▫▪Ťïňắ 01:35, 6 January 2010 (UTC)BTW, a year ago now is 5 days ago.

Oh no, I'm really sorry, I didn't know, i was just reading them... I'll do my part and help updateing information! Oh, can you help me with something? You seem to to know about the site well enough. I want to start a project, one to start adding pages on the info for Sky peak passes and rest stops (stations) and the Sky Peak Summit. THERE ARE NO PAGES FOR IT! Can you help me with this, I have almost all the Pokémon and floor #'s writen in my notepad. I know I can be of some help! I just need to know where to start! So can you help? - unsigned comment from Spotman234 (talkcontribs)

Start here and work your way around MaverickNate 02:17, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
I just added 2 pages for it and and planing to add more! Also, I added info on Sky Gifts. That good?--user 01:54, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Edits

  1. read the Manual of style
  2. sign your comments with 4 tildes
  3. stop commenting on outdated conversations
  4. dont add a comment to a talk page unless its relevant to the article.
  5. anything for your userspace, goes in your userspace

ok? -- MAGNEDETH 02:02, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

1*Okay I will read it now.
2*Okay, now I know.
3*Fine, I'll check next time...
4*Where did i put something that was not related to it?
5*That part does not make sense.
Also, I am very sorry for how much trouble and frustration I am causing. I'll try to be better... I just want to help! I know a lot abut the Pokemon games, so, can't I put that to good use?
P.S. Your mad aren't you? I'm sorry...--Spotman234 02:11, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
its fine, youre new. just check out the MOS and it should iron some stuff out. the last comment refers to making the page "Spotman234" when you need to put it in the user namespace. -- MAGNEDETH 02:17, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Should I delete it, i liked the way your user page looks, but I don't the codeing for that. - unsigned comment from Spotman234 (talkcontribs)

What he means is that you had created it at Spotman234 when it should have been at User:Spotman234. It was moved to the latter location already, so you're fine, you don't need to delete it. 梅子 02:21, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
check out some of the stuff in the MOS, and if you lurk around and read the coding, you can pick-it up yourself. its not easy, but its not hard. also, sign comments! and when responding to a comment, its better to indent using colons at the start of your comment. -- MAGNEDETH 02:24, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Wow, thanks! I was just reading the MOS page when i saw an undate and this pops up. Thnaks for the help, I've learned a few (a lot) things with your help. Thnak you!--Spotman234 02:29, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Hey

Thanks for the help with the 9th Summit Pass article, but in the future, please try not to use the term "you" in encyclopedic articles. I know it can be kind of difficult to convert instructions to something completely third-person but it's a rule D; thanks! --ZestyCactus 02:00, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Opps, I forgot about that. Did you fix it or should I go do that right now?

Also, I was thinking about adding pages for the Stations in between the Station Passes. What do you think?

Also, I have the game with me right here, so I was counting floors. But right now I'm finding the Pokémon in each pass. I up to the 3rd Station Pass so far. Want me to type in what I have so far, you know, in one of those little Pokémon graphs that have the floor and lv and other stuff? I can do that if you think I should.

Also (I'm using that too much), I'm going to keep adding the stations and pass areas so people can add info to the pages too, and make it better.

I can't believe I'm adding pages to Bulbapedia!Woot!--user 02:11, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

You can't edit the welcome template. Since it is counted as a talk page comment, it goes against the talk page policy. So please do not edit talk page comments or the welcome template in the future. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 02:20, 15 January 2010 (UTC) Oops... Won't happen again!
