Billy Kametz

Billy Kametz (March 22, 1987 — June 9, 2022) was an American voice actor for the English dub of Pokémon the Series.

Biography

Kametz was born on March 22, 1987. As an adult, he became a voice actor and was involved with a number of Western cartoons. Kametz joined the animated series during Pokémon Journeys: The Series, where he voiced recurring character Ren, along with Ash's Rotom Phone. On June 11, 2022, it was announced he had passed away two days prior due to complications with stage IV colon cancer.[1] A dedication to him appears in the credits of It's All in the Name! on Netflix.
