(Japanese: ワカバ Wakaba) is a character of the day who appeared in HZ020. She is a gym trainer apprentice, shadowing under Kabu.
Wakaba encountered Liko and Roy outside Motostoke Stadium and took them inside to see Kabu. Wakaba watched as them took on the gym challenge where Roy emerged victorious. Wakaba joined Kabu in a tag battle against Roy and Liko and after Centiskorch defeated Fuecoco, Wakaba took on Liko and her Sprigatito only for her not to want to battle, leading Wakaba to run off. Liko later apologized to Wakaba after Kabu spoke with her.
