This seems to be the Winged King mentioned in an old expedition journal. It was said to have split the land with its bare fists.

Release information

This card was included in the Scarlet & Violet expansion with artwork by Kouki Saitou, first released as one of eight Japanese SV-P Promotional cards available in the Let's Start Playing Pokémon Card Game! campaign Promo Pack that was given to customers who bought 10 packs of Scarlet ex or Violet ex at select retailers starting January 20, 2023. It was also one of the possible cards in the ex Starter Set Sprigatito & Lucario ex Promo Card Pack.

A Full Art SV Black Star Promo with artwork by Mina Nakai, was made available in the Koraidon version of the Scarlet & Violet Elite Trainer Box. A second version with the Pokémon Center logo above the Retreat Cost was available in the Koraidon version of the Scarlet & Violet Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box. This print was released in Japan as a Holofoil SV-P Promotional card available at the Triplet Beat Sealed Battle events held at participating Pokémon Card Gym locations starting March 10, 2023. In these Sealed Battles, groups of 4 participants each made a 40-card deck out of 15 Triplet Beat booster packs, a participation pack which included Rare Candy and one of two Nemoma prints, and basic Energy cards provided by the venue. The winner of each Sealed Battle event received a Sealed Battle Promo Pack, containing either this card or a Miraidon Full Art. Once all matches were finished, a Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament was also held for all four participants, with the winner of that tournament also receiving a Sealed Battle Promo Pack.
