The fifth set in the Pokémon Ga-Olé Dash series was released on April 26, 2018. It features 63 standard disks and 2 secret disks. It is the tenth set overall.
Information
The fifth and final Dash series set has particular focus on Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, including the Legendary Temporal Pokémon Dialga and the Legendary Spatial Pokémon Palkia, both of which could be encountered as Grade 5 Pokémon on the inaugural Dialga•Palkia Course. The Legendary Renegade Pokémon Giratina could later be encountered on the eponymous Giratina Course as a Grade 5 Pokémon in both of its formes, rounding off the creation trio.
A comparatively large selection of courses associated with this set had rather limited timeframes in which to play them. The aforementioned Dialga•Palkia Course was only available to play until May 23, 2018, while the Mythical Pokémon Course, in which Diancie, Genesect, and a new version of Volcanion could all be encountered, was only available to play until June 6, 2018. Courses with similar limited play windows later gave players the opportunity to capture Mythical Pokémon Keldeo, Hoopa, and Jirachi, in addition to a Grade 5 version of Mimikyu with access to its exclusive Z-Move Let's Snuggle Forever and another Grade 5 Silvally, this time with a Dark Memory. The Alola Region's Friends Course was also initially available to play until June 6, 2018 but was later extended to the end of the series, adding additional Pokémon such as Mimikyu from previously expired courses to its pool.
A one-off feature for the fifth Dash set was the Zeraora Roulette! (Japanese: ゼラオラルーレット!), which could randomly activate in place of the regular Attack Roulette. This roulette has Zeraora symbols where the two largest attack bonus values would normally be, and if successfully selected, will summon Zeraora to attack with Plasma Fists before the player's chosen Pokémon uses its move.
Trainer and Battle Mode was available to challenge from June 7, 2018. Two new Trainer classes and a new Battle Leader, Tobra, were among the 5 opponents players could battle. Tobra could be challenged upon defeating the 4 Trainers before him; players could dispense a promotional Dialga or Palkia disk for an additional ¥100 following a battle with him, regardless of the outcome. A 'WINNER' version of either disk could be dispensed if a player successfully defeated all of Tobra's Pokémon.
Aggron and Tsareena were added as Support Pokémon from this set. Players registering a Ga-Olé Pass for the first time would automatically receive Aggron as a Support Pokémon as part of the Pokémon Ga-Olé Welcome Campaign.
