Russian name

What you'd expect, since visually it looks like the English, but it's Коммо-о. ----Celadonkey (talk) 14:05, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

The transliteration should be as follows Kommo-o|rumeaning=Transcription of English name --Raltseye prata med mej 14:19, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

English update

The English name origin should be updated Lokki (talk) 18:13, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Please don't leave the same message on multiple pages. We are working on getting everything updated, but because we fact-check everything and want to bring the most accurate information possible, it takes us a little longer. Please be patient. Crystal Talian 18:28, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Unique type combination

No other Pokémon so far has the same type combination as Hakamo-o and Kommo-o. Shouldn't this be added? Billy-Chespin (talk) 13:11, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Until all Gen VII Pokemon have been revealed, it won't be added, as they could reveal a new unrelated Pokemon with the Dragon/Fighting combination.--ForceFire 13:13, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
that's true, but in my opinion it's pretty unlikely that we'll see another Dragon/Fighting type Pokémon. But yes it could happen Billy-Chespin (talk) 16:27, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Origin

Can't Kommo-o and his pre-evolutions partly be based on Pangolins and/or Armadillos? Lokki (talk) 19:00, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

It doesn't think seem to have anything in common with those animals, other than the plates. And even the plates are more similar to stegosaurs, ankylosaurs, or other dinosaurs than to armadillos or pangolins. Crystal Talian 04:17, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

Thumbs

I'm not sure how important it is to the bio, but I noticed how it lists Kommo-o as having three claws on it's hands, when it has 3 and a thumb, so four in total.ZiggyAngelo8 (talk) 18:56, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

Shell Smash Trivia

Would a trivia entry regarding Kommo-o having Shell Smash in the Battle Tree be worth having? While it isn't by far the only Pokémon with an illegal move, it is one of the two that had that move removed in a later patch, the other being Stockpile Shuckle. Rainingblues (talk) 07:25, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

It isn't really a trivium about Kommo-o the species, though. It already exists at Pokémon Sun and Moon#Version history, and I think we could even perhaps comfortably add it as a trivium on Battle Tree, but it's not relevant to Kommo-o as a species, in my opinion, so I don't think it belongs here. Plus, we have the page Game move errors for this sort of trivia. Xolroc (talk) 16:50, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

Shiny sprite?

Kommo-o can be shiny, right? Its shiny sprite isn't on the page. (If you've seen one but don't have the sprite handy, can you just tell me if it is green?) Thanks. Gatherer818 (talk) 00:29, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

We don't have any Gen VII sprites at all yet --Celadonkey 00:34, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
I could have sworn... shows how much attention I pay. There was a Theme-Team challenge and I was trying find a decent DragonZord to go with my original Power Rangers team (Shiny Bastiodon: Triceratops, Raikou (or Shiny Luxray): SaberTiger, Tyrantum: Tyrannosaurus,Mamoswine:ZyuMammoth Aerodactyl: Pteranodon). Thanks for the quick reply, I'll go bother someone else now, maybe try to work on my Pokedex... Gatherer818 (talk) 00:51, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
In case you're wondering, Kommo-o's shiny is neon yellow and hot pink, like a watermelon, kinda. --Celadonkey 01:01, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
