Excavate is a typeless move introduced in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon that breaks down a wall tile in front of the user.

The technical machine item that teaches this move was dummied out in the released version of the game, thus the move can only be obtained by use of cheating devices. Additionally, the machine was not included in the game code for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2, and it's unknown whether the Excavate move is still in that game's code or removed entirely.

This move is likely to have been replaced by the HM Rock Smash. Template:Project MoveDex notice Template:Movestub
