Release information

In Japan, this card was included with Template:Card GB for the Game Boy Color. This card displays a 'GB' symbol in place of the Expansion symbol, indicating it was originally created exclusively for the Game Boy.

Trivia

  • Although this Pokémon is level 41, Dragonair does not evolve into Dragonite until level 55.
  • This is one of the four Legendary Cards, which are central to the plot of Template:Card GB, and its sequel Template:Card GB 2. It is the only one to be released as an actual card. Similarly, it is only one of three Game Boy-exclusive cards to be made into a card. The others are Tangela and Electrode.

Origin

Slam is a move in the Pokémon games that Dragonite can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Yellow, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Blue. The promotional print Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
