By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 10:16, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

You are absolutely right and most of the time I do use it, but sometimes I am just to hasty or in a rush. I need to take it easy sometimes lol. Sorry for that, I will be more careful from now on. ¡¡¡Blazingfist!!! 10:19, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

Team Plasma article

I understand your reasoning, but I think it clear enough that the episodes discussed are unaired. Take this sentence, for example, "Team Plasma were initially set to debut...but the episodes were postponed indefinitely...". The rest of the "Behind the scenes" section also clearly and explicitly states that the episodes are unaired. In addition, clicking those links takes you to the articles for the unaired episodes. I don't think there's any confusion over whether it's talking about the aired or unaired episodes. Pokegen master (talk) 14:53, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Ah well, I see you haven't undone it yet. Do as you like, however. I thought it might be a bit confusing, but if you think it isn't, go ahead an change it. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 15:27, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
Ok. I didn't want to start an edit war, so I just came here. Pokegen master (talk) 18:54, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Psst...

Rescue Team uses this... {{User:1ted59/template:User Pokémon Red and Blue R.T}} Marked +-+-+ (talk) 18:03, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

I had absolutely no idea what you were talking about until I took a peek at your usertags. Thanks for noticing. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 22:05, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

Vertress Conference

Where did you get six from? Also, the edit summary you put, I found it to be rude. PattyMan 19:40, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude, I hate being or coming off as rude, but it seemed kind of obvious to me. Especially if you checked here: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_episodes#Black_.26_White:_Adventures_in_Unova (scroll down, starting from Curtain Up, Unova League!, then Mission: Defeat Your Rival!, Lost at the League!, Strong Strategy Steals the Show!, Cameron's Secret Weapon!, and lastly A Unova League Evolution!, six episodes in total, which does in fact make it the shortest league. BlazingFist ☼ 19:45, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
I must have counted Team Eevee and the Pokémon Rescue Squad! by mistake. Anyway, I got seven since someone else who made the edit back then mentioned that Lost at the League! didn't count as a league episode. At least you told me that you weren't being rude (how i respond to it). By the way, thank you for fixing those new pages that I created of the missing characters of the day. PattyMan 19:55, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
Don't worry about it, those are just small mistakes that happen. I'll try being more polite the next time something like this happens. And that thing with those characters, don't mention it. I like doing that kind of editing stuff, I like creating missing character/location pages myself too and it is nice to see you found some characters that still needed a page BlazingFist ☼ 19:59, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

Personality and characteristics

What was wroung my personalty and charactics on jessie frellish I did In 12years old I'm so confuse I watch this show in japAnses as well. I thought it was right and I wrought down on a paper about why did you take it off I'm not stupid I'm not that what i thought about her please tell me please I be you email [email protected] please unless can you fix it or can I send you my thing then you said you like i put it on Catlove (talk) 19:15, 6 May 2013 (UTC)catloveCatlove (talk) 19:15, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

It's nothing personal, or anything, it is because the grammar and spelling you used was very bad and almost unreadable. I perfectly understand English may not be your native language (guess what, English isn't my native language either) but remember, this IS an English encyclopedia, so at least basic level skills of the English language are wanted here. Also, you wrote some Pokémon names wrong. Try to improve your English a bit and read this: the Manual of Style, it contains useful information about writing things here at Bulbapedia. Hope this clears things up. BlazingFist ☼ 19:27, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

Who's That Pokemon? BW115 engdub

I just want to know is Watchog featured in english version of Who's That Pokemon BW115 o not? Pikachu65 13:25, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

I have no idea actually. I haven't seen the episode, I only know it aired because a review topic of the episode was opened on the forums. BlazingFist ☼ 13:27, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Maybe it was Watchog after all. Oh well. Just wait until tomorrow. Pikachu65 13:31, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

And besides, Watchog has been scanned second time. In episode BW115. Pikachu65 11:48, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Charizard

Hey I didnt say anything about the fact that they cant. The section I was pointed to said nothing but that. I was pointing it out. But if the dub says so then it is confirmed. I get saying it once or twice in an episode could be a mistake but if the official website states it, then it is confirmed. The Pokemon company here works close with the one in Japan, So I doubt that they would just make stuff up. All of the signs point to him as a male, he even looks male, unlike Charla, So I would say that it is in fact confirmed BlackDragon 00:21, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

I'm going to reply here, to keep it in one place. It seemed like you said they can't, as you didn't make it sound like a quote. But anyway, that's not important. If the characters in the dub say so, it is not confirmed, as the dub is just a derivation of the original Japanese series. The original Japanese series is ultimate canon, as the series is made in Japan. So, if they don't refer to Ash's Charizard as male in the original Japanese episodes (which they don't), but they do in the dub, then it's not canon. And where does the official website state it? Could you provide a source? Lastly, "he even looks male, unlike Charla" isn't confirmation, just an opinion. Someone else could see that differently. As it is a policy, written in big red letters on the talk page of the article, it is better to leave it alone. BlazingFist ☼ 00:27, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
There is the Purrloin incident when Meowth traveled with the group. PattyMan 00:33, 9 June 2013 (UTC)~
^ Which does indeed confirm that Pokémon of the same sex could fall in love which each other. For all we know Charizard is female. Now that would be a stunning revelation, if they decided to make that ultimate canon. But we don't know yet. BlazingFist ☼ 00:39, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Still even if Japan is the ultimate cannon version, the American Pokemon company is just as reliable. Yeah the looking part is an opinion, I was just saying that. I mean Charla is a girl and looks like it. I dont see Ash putting Bows in Charizards hair, just saying. But honestly if the Dub says it it should be confirmed, as like I said, They work close together now. Sometimes you have to just take the clues and what the dub says and put it together. Every sign says he is just read them. But if I remember correctly the Meowth moment, he thought that Purrloin was a girl right? Which doesnt say much as he took it back. If that is the right moment. BlackDragon 03:21, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

There's a note next the "Unknown" stating that it is male in the dub (hover over the asterisk to see it). But that doesn't mean it is a male in the Japanese version.--ForceFire 04:35, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Indeed, that note should be enough. It is referred to as male in the dub version, okay, but not in the original version. The Japanese language does not have gender pronouns. Which mean they can't refer to Charizard as male or female in the original version. Which means it could only be revealed by other means. Conclusion: we don't know if it is male or female in the original version right now, we do know it is male in the dub. The original version is the most important and should be noted first, and this is exactly how it is stated now in its infobox on its page. I don't see a problem. Watari Island

Is that the same as Migration Island as the Pocket Monsters summary states? http://www.pocketmonsters.net/episodes/1498#Comments AeroWind (talk) 12:42, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Yes, that's supposed to be the one. I keep regular track of summaries of episodes, and I believe it was called Watari Island at first and later mostly referred to as Migration Island. BlazingFist ☼ 12:48, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
Oh alright good to know. Thanks. AeroWind (talk) 12:49, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
