Talk:Moor of Icirrus
Icirrus
We moved Hodomoe Drawbridge, and no one complained about that. We also had Raimon Passion changed to Nimbasa Passion before Exciting Nimbasa was revealed, and changed the name of Hiun Ice. But why can't we move Sekka Wetlands? TorchicBlaziken (talk•edits) 15:48, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
How about this...
How about bending the rules and moving this to "Moor of Icirrus". I mean, I know that it's unconfirmed name but it can easily be a translation of the Japanese name (let's just change "Sekka Wetlands" into "Moor of Sekka" in the Japanese translation field), so I think it's not much of a problem here. Wetlands, Moors, it's the same thing anyway. So, how about bending our rules a bit here? Of course, we're not gonna treat it as a confirmed English name yet. Let's just act that it's a coincidental translation. --Maxim 15:58, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- An excellent idea! And it's also better translation because の in セッカの湿原 means "of".----無限の知性 ◎ DENNOU◆ZENSHI 16:22, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- 湿原 means humid wilderness. This can easily be interpreted to mean "moor", "marsh" or "wetland". Considering how it always rains here, it's probably a moor. However, の actually means "'s." This probably would be logically reversed, but Driftveil Drawbridge is not Drawbridge of Driftveil. Probably is supposed to be moor, but the question lies on if it should be Icirrus Moor or Moor of Icirrus. TorchicBlaziken (talk•edits) 18:24, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- That's exactly my point. Let's use "Moor of Icirrus" and act like we had a moment of clairvoyance and guessed the order. This isn't a big crime against Bulbapedia's policies and "Moor of Icirrus" IS a possible translation of セッカの湿原. Not an obvious one but guessable nonetheless. --Maxim 19:17, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
- I like this idea. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talk • contribs) 19:19, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Parasol Lady Mariah
I've noticed on other pages that winter-exclusive and non-winter exclusive trainers are listed separately from the ones that can be accessed year-round. Right now, it's winter, and I've found that it's not possible to get to Parasol Lady Mariah in the winter due to the ice puzzle around her. Just thought I'd bring it up that she should be listed as a non-winter only trainer. Teamrocketspy621 23:30, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Secret Sword in B2W2
According to the article, "If Keldeo and its comrades—Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion—are brought back to the Moor, these three Swords of Justice will teach Keldeo Secret Sword." However, I have brought all four into the Moor, yet I haven't seen a way for Keldeo to learn Secret Sword, except for a dialogue chance by the man at the beginning of the Moor. Can Keldeo learn Secret Sword in the Moor is B2W2 or will it only learn it in Pledge Grove? --Super goku (talk) 06:30, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
- I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. Here's a video of it being done in BW. --SnorlaxMonster 15:46, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
- Well, that was the old man who does have a change of text when Keldeo is present, yet there is no option for Secret Sword from him or anywhere in the Moor. Would it be alright to modify the text so that it says it is BW only? --Super goku (talk) 06:48, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
I went to the Moor with Keldeo and the other three legendary musketeers on my Pokemon Black 2. But, when I went there...nothing happen to Keldeo so I decided to wander around the Moor for a couple of minutes(to see if maybe there is a specific spot that Keldeo need to be in order to learn Secret Sword). Again, nothing happen to Keldeo. So I guess Keldeo can't learn Secret Sword move? --Knowledge is something you will always need. 08:37, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
