Talk pages for Robot Chicken skit guides: Pokémon Bloopers Pikachu Secret
The goal of Encyclopaediae Pokémonis is to be just as international as Pokémon itself, and helping aspiring Pokémon wikis in languages we don't yet have is a great way to help achieve that goal. However, if we don't even know who the possible aspirers for Encyclopaediae Pokémonis's ninth language even are, there's no way any growth can take place. If you speak or understand a language that's currently not represented in Encyclopaediae Pokémonis and happen to find a wiki in that language with aspirations to join Encyclopaediae Pokémonis, then don't hesitate to drop me a line. Remember, an aspirier can't grow if they remain sheltered from the world!
If you understand Brazilian Portuguese, or know someone who does, then the Portuguese arm of Encyclopaediae Pokémonis is in desperate need of your assistance. Many, if not all, of that wiki's articles are in dire need of improvement, be it massive cleanup or even adding some real content to begin with. Their sysops are never around to handle things, and their interwiki bot has done nothing since late September--of 2008. The fact that a trusted member of Encyclopaediae Pokémonis has fallen into such disrepair is disturbing, to say the least. Brazilians do not deserve quality this low. If you can help improve the Portuguese end, then I highly recommend you do so. Today.

Hey, thanks for creating the Harley's Pokémon template. However, I have to ask you to please use the {{P}}
template when linking to Pokémon articles. For example, use {{p|Ariados}} instead of [[Ariados]]. Otherwise, you might unwittingly link to a disambiguation page. Thanks! --PAK Man Talk 01:52, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Also, don't use "you" in articles. It's bad form to talk to the readers. --TTEchidna 21:51, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
The link templates are very important. Please use them instead of square brackets for Pokémon species, moves, types, and many other things, lest you link to a disambiguation page like Pikachu. TTEchidna 22:36, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for correcting me on that user's talk page. I guess I was so frustrated with everything they've done, I wasn't concentrating. I've amended my mistake. Again, thank you for correcting me. --PAK Man Talk 20:26, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Just a few things
I just wanted to let you know that you should always be sure to check facts and existing articles, especially when making a new article. Also, please only categorize your user page with user groups. -Happy Mask Man 21:32, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Hack
What's wrong with the article hack? --Shiny Noctowl 18:28, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- The article's entire premise is not notable. Do we need an article about something illegal? No, we do not. If we were to consider the Hack article notable, then we'd have to consider articles about stuff such as AdvanceMap, GoldMap, and other ROM editors notable as well, along with articles about stuff such as Quartz, Chaos Black, and the like. If that stuff was to be considered notable, Bulbapedia would be a mess. --Shiningpikablu252 18:34, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- What do you mean, "its entire premise was not notable"? --Shiny Noctowl 18:33, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Read what I just put on your user talk page. We don't need to be putting essentially the same stuff on two user talk pages at once, especially stuff concerning illegal bullsh*t. --Shiningpikablu252 18:38, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Lyrics
Sorry about the removal of the lyrics; I didn't know Bulbapedia has rules about copyrighted material that differ from the rest of the Internet. I didn't mean to single out Misty's Song, it was just the only song I looked at.--SomeoneIKnew 22:52, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Ragecandybar
Oh yeah. I remember now. --Shiny Noctowl 17:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Southern Islands
Thanks for cleaning up my Southern Islands articles. I'll try and do that myself in future, to save you the hassle - do I just copy the Pokémon's Japanese name (and Romanji version) from its own page? I'll use the completed articles as templates to just copypaste stuff around into. Punkrockrevel 15:48, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- That's what I did myself. --Shiningpikablu252 16:00, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I'll take it from now, then. Thanks again. Punkrockrevel 07:37, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Erika's Dratini
TTEchidna told me that you created the page for me. Great job...my Barrier Swap article is almost completely blue-linked! -Politoed666 21:11, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Picture
Do you know how I can get the picture in my signature to appear on the same line? --Shiny NoctowlTalk|Trivia quiz
00:59, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, that's not my field of experience. --Shiningpikablu252 01:03, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Who should I ask? --Shiny NoctowlTalk|Trivia quiz
01:04, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know who to ask. --Shiningpikablu252 01:05, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
You're Right...
Sorry about that to-do list page. I don't know how to put stuff under my user space, but I'll learn. Thanks for moving it under my namespace, though. Oh, and how do you create all those TCG pages so fast? With that kind of Trading Card Game expertise, you might be good for Project Decks. -Politoed666 01:00, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- I basically take the contents of an article and put them onto a Notepad document, not saving any alterations to the origin article. I then edit the contents of the Notepad document into (hopefully) the final result of the article. It would take me pretty much forever to create the articles from scratch! --Shiningpikablu252 01:06, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Pictures?
Do you need pictures for a lot of cards uploaded for you? I can help if you want, in return for the assistance with Erika's Dratini. I can get them onto Bulbagarden Archives for you and then onto the article. Just send a list of articles to my user talk. -Politoed666 01:23, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah...that's a long list. I'll just delete cards as I get them done. -Politoed666 00:19, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Okay! Dark Blastoise is done. The picture isn't too big...is it? -Politoed666 00:38, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- That's a pretty good size. --Shiningpikablu252 00:47, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Metanite
Oh jeez! I was in the middle of finishing the decklist when you edited it, and I'm sure you know that typing those things takes forever. So, imagine my dismay when I saw that only about half my changes weren't saved because you edited it! :( However, being very intelligent, I went back and copied and pasted the rest of the decklist. All good! So, thanks for helping me with the * thing, too. However, if there's any archetype that is ever a featured article candidate, I hope it is Barrier Swap. -Politoed666 01:56, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Like, what changes specifically? Did you change the decklist? If you did, that's O.K., but I'd just like to know what you did... -Politoed666 22:21, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Merely synchronized the links to what was on the card's respective setpage. This way I don't have to create redirects. --Shiningpikablu252 22:24, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

- Oh, I'm ready, all right. If it really is the same guy, that son of a b*tch ain't going to get away with any method of trying to f*ck up Bulbapedia. You can be sure of it. --Shiningpikablu252 21:11, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

1000 Edits
Congratulations! I just realized that you have made over 1000 edits this month! There are only six other users who have accomplished such an amazing feat. The template you can use to commemorate your accomplishment is here. --Shiny NoctowlTalk | FunFile:224MS.gif 01:37, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Aren't you happy? --Shiny NoctowlTalk | FunFile:224MS.gif 01:47, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Too busy to celebrate. --Shiningpikablu252 01:48, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Wait until the edit counts are out at the beginning of October... TTEchidna 03:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Odds are even then I'd still be too busy to celebrate...--Shiningpikablu252 15:09, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Cards
Hey, there's been a lot of disagreement over the card project, see? Until it's all settled, we were going to keep the whole thing on hold, see? So I took a break from making the articles, see. Waiting until it all got settled. So please stop with that stuff. The longer it goes on, the harder it'll be to settle everything, see? The card project is a really big one, so we really can't afford to have things go on unattended. -Happy Mask Man 03:44, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- What disagreement? Last I heard, things were going really smoothly with no disagreements. Simply put, I'm 100% certain everything's been settled.
- If you're talking about the pictures, there's a list of articles without pictures available for reference. Every single article without a scan is listed on that page, which means scouting out articles without scans just became super-easy.
- Also, I'm not one to stop in the middle of a task. If you really want me to put card article uploading on hold, wait until I've finished work on Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge. Once that's done, there will be no sets with red card article links between Base Set and Neo Destiny. --Shiningpikablu252 16:14, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, if just GH and GC remain, I suppose it's fine to finish them up. Our main quarrel has been over how to name the articles, actually, and what to do about reprints, whether in the same set or not. It sucks because we really can't do much without everyone currently working on the TCG project coming to an agreement, and more importantly, can't really say anything when people are in the middle of uploading card work... hence our dilemma.
- If you have AIM, it'd be greatly appreciated if you were to come to a chat about the TCG articles, but if not, eh, we'll see what we can do. Maybe we'll just use IRC. TTEchidna 03:58, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Excuse me, you are not complying what has been stated. It was said that you should finish Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge and then we would settle the disputes. Yet now you are dabbling in other things, against our word. That is… not good. Ignoring what people have to say is not a very good policy… -Happy Mask Man 04:17, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Deleting what people have to say is even worse than ignoring it. Now you're doing both. After all of this, you're still doing it. Messing around with the Team Rocket set with redirects… Deleting our comments, calling them "ugly"… Not very good things to do. You keep going in deeper and deeper. You had best stop behaving so badly. It's not very good for your health. -Happy Mask Man 03:30, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Barrier Swap
It's almost done, and I made a lot of major fixes to it today. I'm hoping to keep it as the standard for the rest of the archetypes. What do you think? -Politoed666 00:44, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Pretty nice article. Granted, the "Other Pokémon" area mentions Erika's Oddish 47, but the decklist doesn't; on the flip side, the decklist mentions Erika's Oddish 78, but that card's not mentioned anywhere else...--Shiningpikablu252 00:50, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I've fixed it. I meant Erika's Oddish for both of them. Thanks for pointing it out. -Politoed666 20:55, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Team Tornado Sam
I don't like your attitude, whether its a good one or not. And I really don't like you insulting Team Tornado like that. Read Team Tornado Sam under that PAK man guy's talk page...
PS: I see Team Tornado as a wonderful idea, and I would be impressed if I were you.
- Look, I'm not singling out your fanfic. ANY fanfic stuff is considered unencyclopedic bullsh*t on Bulbapedia, and if we were to consider one fanfic article as notable, we'd have to consider every fanfic article as notable, making Bulbapedia a goddamn motherfu*king mess. If you absoultely must include your fanfic stuff anywhere on Bulbapedia, do it in your user namespace where you don't have to worry about it being considered unencyclopedic bullsh*t. --Shiningpikablu252 03:50, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Why the f*ck do you use so much vulgar language!!!!!
Thank you!
Ok Ill take your advice I nevr knew how to do that.
P.S. About the meowth thing why not?
- I removed that part of the message from the main view because it's way too inappropriate. Even explaining it on THIS page would be pushing it. Let's just say "viewer discretion advised", and don't say I didn't warn you. --Shiningpikablu252 01:59, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thanks for your advice. As I said, I really know next to nothing about the TCG, so I appreciate anything that could help me improve my knowledge of it. --PAK Man Talk 23:00, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
...Cough...
Um...why are these articles named differently than the other TCG articles? Spearow (Jungle) as opposed to Spearow? This is going to mean that a LOT of redirects are going to hve to be made. -File:Spr 3e 186.gifPolitoed666File:Spr 3e 186.gif
- Actually, one of my original plans for my current project was to move the articles to the current naming. However, Happy Mask Man would probably have a cow if that were done. I'll only make the moves if TTEchidna or someone like that deems such a task to be absolutely necessary.
- Don't worry, though--the Spearow (Jungle 62) format is perfectly usable for links. I made sure of that by creating redirects to the not-quite-right name articles awhile back. --Shiningpikablu252 20:54, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
