Unicorn

Is rapidash a unicorn? It looks like one. So, should we call it a unicorn?LedianX 02:17, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Aside from the horn, it doesn't seem to have any of the properties of unicorns. You could say that the appearence is based on one but that it lacks any of the powers. - unsigned comment from Blackjack Gabbiani (talkcontribs)

it has the horn, not the powers. yet it does look simaler (sp?)

Back sprite

Rapidash's DP back sprite looks like Ms.Frizzle's hair from The Magic School Bus -Eeveecat 14:12, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Underleveled?

Isn't there an underleveled Rapidash in Platinum? I haven't even fought Crasher Wake,so no Pokemon are level 40 yet. I remember fighting a Rapidash that was in the level 20s,I think level 24. Should that be in the article? Or does it count under the "Underleveled Wild Pokemon" charge? But,it was caught? Lovely Rose 23:47, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

My Little Pony

When the trivia lockdown is lifted will be alright to mention in episode 16 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic that when Twilight Sparkle gets annoyed and literally fired up at the end of the episode that she looks strikingly similar to Rapidash? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCP_49ZDA6s Frozen Fennec

We have another page for that. Ataro 12:29, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

Name

Its possible the name might have come from Rabadash, the antagonist from The Horse and His Boy, who ends up turning in a donkey at the end. - unsigned comment from Ganondox (talkcontribs)

Most likely not. R.A. Hunter Blade 16:14, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Japanese Blue

Rapidash can be caught in the first room of Cerulean Cave in the Japanese Blue version. Krisi 13:23, 26 September 2011 (UTC)

Added. I had to guess the rarity, feel free to change it if you feel it's inaccurate - you're the one with the copy of the game. Werdnae (talk) 18:37, 26 September 2011 (UTC)

Shiny Trivia?

it maybe just me, but it looks like Rapidash and Ponyta's shiny sprites from Generation II switch color in Gen III onwards, is this notable? Azure/ChromeVoid42 20:05, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

No sprite trivia is allowed and neither is adding trivia at the moment. Sorry. --Pokemaster97 21:36, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Unicorn reminiscent of Rapidash.

This video. When she goes into rage (about 19 minutes and 16 seconds in video, and video is set to start at 19 minutes and 15 seconds), she reminds me of a Rapidash. Marked +-+-+ 11:42, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Possible Trivia for Galar Variant

Rapidash's category of "Unique Horn" may be a reference to the comic series Phoebe and Her Unicorn, where the unicorn Marigold tells the human Phoebe that she (Marigold) is a "unique orn," which is different from a "regular orn."

Rabadash

Just came here to comment on the name and I see somebody already did, but the comment was posted more than twelve years ago. Anyway, I was just thinking the exact same thing. I hadn't read the Narnia books as a kid, (and I still haven't read the Horse and His Boy,) but--whether right or wrong--this is definitely something that would have stood out to me back in the day had the circumstances been different. In fact, last year I was helping the middle school English teacher to grade tests, and the book they were reading was The Horse and His Boy, and when I saw the name "Rabadash" I immediately began to wonder. I mean the names are just too similar, and I kind of doubt it is mere coincidence seeing as the book is about a horse. (Although Rabadash wasn't a horse...) Image showing Galarian Rapidash's Glow

I added a line about Galarian Rapidash glowing different colors when using certain psychic moves. Do you think an image showing its glow would be acceptable next to this line? Sunflora had an image showing its petals closing when it sleeps, so I think this is major enough to warrant an image like that. Tag365 (talk) 01:27, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
