Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Makupe!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

All of our administrators are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

The Userspace Policy says that you should keep userspace edits (edits to User:Makupe) to a minimum, and outlines a few other guidelines for your userspace.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Link Templates

Please use link templates when linking to stuff such as Pokémon names, attacks, and the like. For example, {{p|Skarmory}} instead of just [[Skarmory]]. This is so you don't unintentionally link to a disambiguation page.

For a full crash course on link templates, look at the list of link templates. ----Liquid ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 22:57, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

In addition, Steel Wing isn't Skarmory's signature move. It's a TM.--Liquid ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 23:50, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Actually, Skarmory is the ONLY one who learns it by level-up though.

And signature moves ARE by level-up. :/ Some pokemon ALSO can use it by breeding. Aaaaaaaand.... In Generation II, Goldeen and Seaking were the only ones that can learn Waterfall by level up. However, it was an HM for OTHERS to learn it. *Same goes for the other generations..* Fair enough? --Makupe 23:53, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Waterfall wasn't an HM until Generation II, which, if you look on the signature move page, was when Waterfall stopped being the Goldeen family's signature move.--Liquid ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 00:12, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Your Edits to Whiscash

So... where do I begin? Guess I should start with asking you to use the preview button. You made a lot of edits that could have been avoided if you had used it (I should have listened to my own advice: I had to go back and change something). And it's Pokémon, not pokemon. Finally, link templates to avoid disambiguations. That's it for now, I guess. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 21:45, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Are you really that stupid? I cant enter the e with the ` on top of it.--Makupe 00:00, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

It is in the character palette which also has 'É'. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 00:02, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Don't call me stupid just because you're too lazy to open Microsoft word (or whatever you use) or use the character palette down there. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 01:22, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

I am so NOT lazy.--Makupe 01:28, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

you really need to use the preview button. its pointless to modify something 7 times when all you need to do is use the preview button and it gets done once. also, Bounce has nothing to do with being ball shaped, its merely about jumping. -- MAGNEDETH 00:28, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Not so smart-mouthed and ass-mouthed now, are ya? Usually ball-shaped or ball-like pokemon learn it.--Makupe 00:44, 21 November 2009

i wasnt being smart-mouthed at all, but your comment, well thats exactly what it was. so im going to give you a day off to relax. when you come back, i would appreciate a better attitude tward other users whom are trying to give you advice. it goes without saying that insulting other members (including a staff member like myself) isnt allowed at all. so keep that in mind. -- MAGNEDETH 00:49, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
By the way, just a little note, ` is a grave accent; that'd make Pokèmon, which would be pronounced completely differently than Pokémon. The é can be made through the Javascript-based character palette, as Turtwig A said, or by holding the ALT button on your Windows computer and punching 1-3-0 or 0-2-3-3 on your number keypad (laptops may require you hold down the FN button to do this as well). On a Mac, if you're so inclined, hold Option and hit the E key, then type any vowel to get the acute accented version of it. Perfect for Spanish class. Linux, you're SOL. TTEchidna 00:57, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

I so will NOT relax. I never did.--Makupe 17:27, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Requesting "article" Dawn's Togekiss to be added. :/--Makupe 02:14, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

No, it shouldn't. The opening is no confirmation that it's Dawn's. It could be an error, and that she is supposed to get a Porygon Z. It could also be an elusive Pokémon that likes Dawn. That's why there is no Ash's Infernape/Torterra yet. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 02:26, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh really so? its totally not an error, and Porygon-Z wouldnt ever appear in the anime. :/ I have evidence, it CAME OUT FROM ONE OF DAWN'S POKEBALLS! duh!--Makupe 02:37, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

And exactly what, pray tell, would the article say about this Togekiss? This was done for a reason, you know. 梅子 02:40, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
How do you know it won't? The seizure incident was Porygon's fault, and it appeared in the anime many times since. Also, Togekiss isn't hers yet, meaning that it shouldn't get a page in the mainspace. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 03:06, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Something to keep in mind

Please do not edit another user's page unless given explicit permission. The page is theirs to edit, and they can make their own decisions. How would you like it if somebody edited your page? It's something good to keep in mind. Thanks, --Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 22:32, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Shut up. I dont need your advice.--Makupe 22:39, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Please keep in mind both the code of conduct and the userspace policy. Thanks! 梅子 22:41, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry...

But you weren't allowed to create a page for a fake Pokémon in the mainspace. You could however choose to do it in the userspace (like here: User:Makupe/Kiyotto for instance). Just don't get carried away with it and edit the mainspace more constructively in the future :). If you need anything else, feel free to ask.--MisterE13 23:01, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

To add to that, if you make it on your userspace, please use {{PokémonInfoboxNoncat}} instead of {{PokémonInfobox}}! 梅子 23:04, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, i got confused...--Makupe 23:07, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Can you put the noncat thing on the Kiyotto page? It just shows up Missingno instead.--Makupe 23:10, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi

I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Heavy editing of these personal pages can put undue stress on the server, so please leave your page alone for now and go help out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so please help us to complete it! If you edit the mainspace more often, you will be allowed to edit your userpage more often too. Thanks! ---- MAGNEDETH 23:12, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

But I just started on it! :( I was going to add the image too! - unsigned comment from Makupe (talkcontribs)

doesnt matter, its against the rules to edit the userspace too much. you have to stop. -- MAGNEDETH 23:25, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! ---- MAGNEDETH 23:27, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Hold on!

If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace too much. In the past, no one was allowed to edit their userpages because some users were over-editing their own userpages. Your personal editing privileges can be taken away, so please do not edit your page any more for now. Thank you. --Psyライダー 23:30, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
