The Water Memory (Japanese: ウオーターメモリ Water Memory) is a type of held item introduced in Generation VII. It is one of the memories that are associated with Silvally. It corresponds to the Water type.
In the core series games

In battle
If the holder uses Multi-Attack, it becomes a Water-type move.
RKS System changes a Silvally holding this item to its Water-type form. Item-manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give Silvally a memory or remove a memory from Silvally.
Outside of battle
RKS System changes a Silvally holding this item to its Water-type form.

In the TCG
Water Memory appears in the Team Up expansion. It is a Pokémon Tool card that only has an effect when attached to a Pokémon named Silvally-
. While it is attached to such a Pokémon, the Silvally-GX's type is changed to the Water type.
