The Grass type is one of nine TCG elemental types.

The Grass type contains all Poison, Bug, and Grass Pokémon found in the Game Boy adventures. For example, Grimer, Beedrill and Bulbasaur are all Grass types in the TCG.


Battle Properties

Generally Grass Pokémon has a weakness too:

  • Fire (if the Pokémon was a Grass or Bug type in the Game Boy game)
  • Psychic (if the Pokémon was a Psychic type in the Game Boy game)


These types are generally weak to Grass Pokémon:

  • Water (if the Pokémon was a Water type in the Game Boy game)
  • Fighting (if the Pokémon was a Ground type in the Game Boy game)
