Route 9 (Japanese: 9ばんどうろ Route 9) is a route in western Kalos, connecting Ambrette Town and Glittering Cave. The route is also known as Spikes Passage (Japanese: トゲトゲさんどう Spiky Mountain Path).

- In the games, Route 9 is connected to Ambrette Town by a gate. However, in the map of Kalos that came with preordered copies of Pokémon X and Y if bought in America, it is shown to be connected by a cave instead.
