This card was released in the English Jungle expansion, originating from the Japanese Pokémon Jungle expansion. It was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion.

Spore and Slash are both moves in the Pokémon games that Parasect can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
