Doryuzu was obtained by Iris before she started traveling with Ash. It first appeared in BW009. After Iris's Kibago got stuck in the horns of a wild Pendra, Iris sent out Doryuzu to help. But as soon as it came out, it stayed in its inactive state and refused to anything. After Iris rescued Kibago herself, Doryuzu came to life and attacked the angry Pendra. It easily defeated it and sent it flying off into the horizon. Doryuzu cried out in victory before going back into its inactive state.
