Synopsis

Template:Incomplete synopsis Ash, Dawn, and Brock are aboard a ship heading back to Twinleaf Town, gradually growing more lonely as the trip goes on due to the realization that the three will soon split up. However, a Pichu appears, brightening everyone's mood, followed by a Teddiursa, Igglybuff, Azurill, and Cleffa.

However, all is not well. Team Rocket is stirring up trouble beneath the sea, disturbing some Tentacool and Tentacruel living peacefully at the bottom, and causing them to rush to the surface. Without warning, the Pokémon attack the ship, causing a great crisis.
