Trivia

Atsushi Nagashima, the game director of the TCG, has stated that this card was designed to further augment Lightning-based decks, including those based around Pikachu & Zekrom-GX. Raichu and Alolan Raichu are featured on this card to contrast it from Pikachu & Zekrom-GX. This card's Lightning Ride-GX attack is intended to describe Raichu and its Alolan form surfing together.
