Green-Eyed Bulbasaur (Japanese: ラブラブ ダネリーナ, Love-Love Danerina) is the 20th chapter of the Magical Pokémon Journey manga.
Plot
Almond remains in the hospital, recovering from Kameko's hug. Wanting to cheer him up with some flowers, Hazel goes to see Peanut's older brother, Pistachio, who is a florist. When Peanut introduces the two, Pistachio immediately develops an obvious attraction for Hazel, but she is oblivious. He recommends a bouquet of cherry blossoms for her, and decides that he will personally deliver it to the hospital. Pistachio's Bulbasaur then takes notice of him flirting with Hazel. In love with Pistachio herself, she grows furious and shoves the two apart, prompting Pistachio to delay the delivery.
The next day, Hazel arrives at the hospital to find it entirely covered in flowers. Pistachio calls out to Hazel from nearby, and it is revealed that he has organized this to impress her. As the two enter the hospital, they find a very confused Almond surrounded by an exuberant amount of flowers. Ignoring him, Pistachio pulls out a crimson rose and hands it to Hazel in an attempt to show his passion for her, but she turns around and gives it to Almond instead.
Wanting to thank Pistachio for seemingly showing care for Almond, Hazel picks an aster to give to him. Bulbasaur peeks into the room just in time to witness this and is filled with rage, as she believes asters carry the message of, "My love is deeper than your love." Bulbasaur throws a yellow rose at Pistachio, signifying her jealousy. She then goes on a rampage with her Vine Whip, and only stops when Hazel is hurt protecting Almond from a flying table. When Bulbasaur realizes that Hazel loves Almond, she apologizes for her overreaction. Hazel forgives her, wrapping her in a hug.
Pistachio then silently vows to make Hazel his, receiving an odd glance from Almond, who is simply upset that his rest was interrupted.
