Trivia
- In the Pokémon File at the end of this volume, which also appears in Pokémon Sleepover, Bulbasaur is identified with the nickname "Bulba." Despite this, she is never referred to with a nickname in the English translation by any characters in the regular manga pages.
- At the end of the book, there is a joke advertisement for Volume 5 teasing that Arbok and Wigglytuff will get married, prompting Almond to discover who he has feelings for.
