Shannon (Japanese: ショウブ Shōbu) is a character of the day who appeared in A Village Homecoming!. She is a resident of the Village of Dragons and a childhood friend of Iris as well as a Pokémon Breeder.
Shannon first greeted Iris, Ash, and Cilan when the trio came to the Village of Dragons for a visit. She explained that she was entrusted with the care of two Zweilous, who were close as they hatched from their eggs on the same day, and invited the three for a visit at her house. When the three met up with her after visiting elder, she revealed that she had dreams of leaving the Village of Dragons and traveling like Iris, but felt that she couldn't abandon the Pokémon she was raising. Iris, however, prompted her to shed her nervousness and ask the elder about it.
Later, when one of the Zweilous evolved into Hydreigon and Iris took the task of calming the Brutal Pokémon upon herself, she was seen visibly worried for the young Dragon Master.
