The Luxio Tribe (also known as the Luxio Clan, Luxray's Tribe, or Luxray's clan) is a group of eight Luxio led by a Luxray. They are very territorial, and follow a "strike first, ask later" strategy. They were in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, but were replaced by Manectric and Electrike in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.

During the time in which the player adventures, Team Skull takes Azurill's Water Float and places it in Amp Plains, within Luxray's habitat. The player and partner go to regain it. The player tries to hide from the clan, to find it useless; Luxray claims to see any that hide. Thinking there is only one, they stand up to the challenge, but find themselves surrounded.

Trivia

  • The Luxray and Luxio tribe has been replaced by the Manectric and Electrike tribe in the game's serial. This is possibly due to one of the starter and partner choices in this game being Shinx.
  • Though Luxray appears to use an Electric-type move after the battle, it doesn't know any.
