I don't see why we need this...
The article's basically about something that only works with downloaded or pirate versions of Diamond & Pearl. Articles about ROM editors for the Generation III games obviously wouldn't fly, so I don't see why we'd need this article...
- I'm also challenging the notability, though I'm not sure tangents like this are discussed in the notability requirements. --Pie ~♪♫ 18:46, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah. Something like GameShark's okay, since though its use is frowned on by Nintendo, it's not an illegal copy of the game. TTEchidna 01:01, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- Stiiiiiiill don't like this... TTEchidna 10:23, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

AR Codes
You don't need an illegal copy - it makes only it easier, but you can also start from nothing and generate AR codes.
Article Name Change
The actual correct name of Pokesav is indeed "Pokesav" and not "Pokésav" - the program is listed as such on the author's webpage. I propose a name change to "Pokesav" and not "Pokésav"
- But the author meant Pokésav just like others mean Pokémon when they type Pokemon, Pokénav when the type Pokenav, and Pokédex when they type PokedexPokeManiac102 22:38, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah. Likewise for Pokémon.com, whose address very obviously is pokemon.com. TTEchidnaFire echy 07:11, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Pokemon
i got an uberpass from this - thats a probopass with roar of time, spacial rend, judjment, and all stats at 999. anyone want one? 折り紙ガイ - 離す 貢献 18:58, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
So, basically, you're asking us, the majority of which are against Pokesav, to accept a hacked Pokemon? If this was Smogon, you'd be infracted. TorchicBlaziken (talk) 19:39, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
recovering skarmory
whats with that anyway? --折り紙ガイ - 離す 貢献 16:30, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
That's what I was thinking. Skarmory can Roost, it doesn't need recover (although Roost negates the flying type for the rest of the round).--Coolbho3000 02:13, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
The only point I'd see to a Recovering Skarmory is to avoid the danger of a Ground-type attack; with Roost, you're left vulnerable to one of the most common moves used by Sweeper Pokémon. Diachronos 16:09, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
I heard...
It's not compatible with Platinum. True? Not true? Is the developer planning on something for Platinum? No? Yes? What happens if you trade a Pokésav'd Pokémon to Platinum? Does it break? TTEchidna 03:47, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
COM created a separate version specifically for Platinum, we translated it: http://www.pokesav.org/main/download-pokesav. The D/P version doesn't work with Platinum saves, the Platinum version doesn't work with D/P saves. Trading a Pokésav'd Pokémon to Platinum (and vice versa) will not break anything. It'll just work.
