I agree that it is probably based on both hamster and gerbil, since hamsters obviously don't have that kind of tail. Another safe bet would be to just say that it's based on domesticated rodents. That seems too general though. I think the best think is to say hamsters and gerbils. Hamster ?
Seeing as its got a tail, I think it's more of a Gerbil rather than a Hamster. --Unbirth (talk) 19:40, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
