Prior to DP124 → Piplup Buneary Pachirisu Aipom → Ambipom → → → Swinub → Piloswine → Mamoswine Cherubi → Cherrim Dawn would probably get a Cherubi in a future episode. Why would they bother feature one in an episode anyway? There were already Gardenia's Cherubi and Lila's Cherrim. I'm not really in favor of Ambipom leaving in the episode later for pin pong. It's like she's copying Primeape. It's a waste too if that happens. I'll miss Swift. If ever that does happen. Cherubi will be Dawn's main appeal-er for contests while Mamoswine will do the battle, or both until Cherubi evolves. Mamoswine's interest can be seen in the past two contests. Upon evolution, Cherubi might become more Timid when in Overcast form but it becomes more like its old outgoing self upon changing form. It'll be a Pokémon with mood swings! Piplup will stay the same for Pikachu reasons. I don't want Buneary to evolve. It'll be weird seeing a Loppuny do what Buneary does to show affection to Pikachu. If Dawn's copying May with the Grass, Fire and Water thing, she'll need a Fire-type, which I'll get to next time. After DP133 → Piplup Buneary Aipom → Ambipom → → Pachirisu Swinub → Piloswine → Mamoswine Not removed from opening, even when Chimchar was evolved... so it may be one of these: Ambipom comes back. She missed them so much. It didn't work out. Ambipom comes back and fourth for contests, like Ash's Charizard. Before DP143 → Piplup Buneary Pachirisu Aipom → Ambipom → → → Swinub → Piloswine → Mamoswine Cyndaquil → Quilava I still believe in Ambipom! For Cyndaquil, Chikorita appears to belong to Kotone and Dawn already has 1 and had 1 Water-type. I don't think it would evolve into Typhlosion though. Two powerhouses is a bit much for her.

I'll keep Ambipom around until the Grand Festival ends. For Cyndaquil, it's like it's a mix of May's Bulbasaur/Squirtle, Ash's Charizard/Dawn's Pachirisu, May's Eevee and Dawn's Ambipom already. Dawn will surely abuse Swift again, but, hopefully, she uses new ones more.

Croagunk stays as it is since I think it hates Toxicroak and jabbing Brock after evolution maybe too painful already. Happiny evolves to Chansey only since Blissey seems a bit too much. No one thought of this. Dawn gaining an Eevee basically makes the story too obvious. Brock gains a baby one instead, not from an egg. It'll evolve to a possible evolution in Gen. V, maybe a Rock or Ground-type. Rhyhorn isn't a crybaby like everyone says and it'll evolve into the powerhouse Rhyperior.

None...for now. This is usually as far as they go. I never really liked the idea of Snover and good thing it already passed. Same goes for Skorupi. Aaron and J already have a Drapion anyway.
