Paul's Honchkrow (Japanese: シンジのドンカラス Shinji's Donkarasu) is a Pokémon owned by Paul. It is voiced by Shinichirō Miki in Japanese and by Bill Rogers in English. As a Murkrow, it was voiced by Chie Satō regularly and Chinami Nishimura in Glory Blaze! only. In English, it was voiced by Jerry Lobozzo using 4Kids' stock footage.
Although it first appeared in the first Diamond and Pearl opening, Together and Diamond and Pearl, its first official appearance was in Top-Down Training!,
It evolved off-screen between Riding the Winds of Change! and Lost Leader Strategy!. It battled against Maylene in a flashback, easily defeating her Meditite and her Machoke.
It appeared again in Aiding the Enemy!, where it battled Ash's Turtwig. Even though Turtwig evolved to Grotle, Honchkrow was still able to win the match.
It appeared again in DP118 where Paul entered it in a PokéRinger competition in which after making it to the final round, lost to Ash's Staraptor after it evolved from Staravia. Paul scolded Honchkrow for losing.
It was used to battle Ash in DP131, where it defeated Grotle again before being recalled.

Trivia
- As Murkrow was featured in the opening for 37 weeks before its actual debut, there was a common misconception that Murkrow was received in a trade with the boy that Paul gave his Azumarill to in A Gruff Act to Follow. In fact, Murkrow was caught normally at some point during Paul's journey through Kanto, Johto and Hoenn.
- The evolution of Honchkrow makes it the fourth Pokémon to appear after a movie that is owned by a rival. The first three were Drew's Flygon and Absol after the sixth movie and Honchkrow's comrade, Weavile after the eighth movie. Interestingly, three out of four are of the Dark-type.
- Honchkrow is the first dual-type Pokémon currently owned by Paul to not have a double weakness to a certain type, as Torterra and Gliscor have a double weakness to Ice-type moves, Weavile has a double weakness to Fighting-type moves, and Lairon has double weakness to Fighting-type and Ground-type moves.
- Two of Ash's Pokémon evolved while battling Honchkrow: Turtwig and Staravia.
- Honchkrow is the third Pokémon owned by Paul to be voiced by Bill Rogers, the other two being Chimchar and Weavile.
