The Entry Pack is a special introductory Deck Kit designed as a taster for the Pokémon Card Game DP: Diamond & Pearl Expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It was released in Japan only.

• The set was released on 27th October 2006.

Trivia

• The kit focuses on the Diamond & Pearl starters and their evolutions.
• All of the cards featured in the kit can be found in the main set.
• Unlike many Half Decks and other fixed kits in Japan, these cards have rarity symbols.
• In addition to the cards, the set contains a demonstrative CD-Rom, a rulebook, damage counters, status counters and custom coin. The coin features Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup.
• Updated versions of the Entry Pack were released the following year; the Entry Pack '08 and Entry Pack '08 DX.
