Release information

This card was originally released in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Ken Sugimori. A special variant was released as a participation prize for the 2007-2008 City Championships, featuring the event logo. A gold foil stamped "Staff" version was also given to those overseeing the event. A promotional parallel foil variant with a "Diamond & Pearl" stamp was also released as part of a Burger King promotion in July 2008. In Japan, a holographic promotional version of this print was released as part of the DP Card Exchange campaign in November 2007.
This card was reprinted as one of the DP Black Star Promos with different artwork by Kagemaru Himeno. The card was released in the Diamond & Pearl Trainer's Challenge Set and available as one of several cards in the various iterations of DP Value Pack 2 outside North America. The Japanese version was released through a Meiji Chocolate promotion in February 2007.
