The Pokémon Card Game DPt Gift Box is a special collection of cards released in Japan on November 20, 2008. The gift box includes four half decks, each of varying difficulty. Like the previous Entry Pack and Entry Pack '08 releases, the half decks are based on Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup and, as with the Entry Pack '08 DX, the fourth half deck is based on Pikachu. The Chimchar half deck is the easiest to play, followed by Turtwig, Piplup, and finally Pikachu, which is the most advanced to play.
The Pokémon Card Game DPt Gift Box also includes a case of damage and status counters, a playmat, a sheet of stickers and a booklet illustrating how to play the game.

Trivia
- The Pikachu Half deck contains one holographic and one non-holographic version of Pikachu. If this were to be counted as a different card, it would mean that the size of the half decks grows from 13, 14, 15 and 16 cards respectively (excluding basic Energy cards), indicating the difficulty increase in their play strategy.
