A special variant was released as a participation prize for the 2007-2008 State/Province/Territory Championships, featuring the event logo. A gold foil stamped "Staff" version was also given to those overseeing the event. In Japan, a holographic promotional version of this print was released as part of the DP Card Exchange campaign in November 2007.

This card was reprinted in POP Series 8 with different artwork by Kagemaru Himeno. The Japanese version was released through a Meiji Chocolate promotion in July 2007.
