Release information

This card was included in the Flashfire expansion, first released in the Japanese M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck. In Japan, this card was later reprinted as an unnumbered Holofoil XY-P Promotional card and awarded to those who achieved three consecutive wins in the Triple Beat Battle at each Charizard Mega Battle event, held at the Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on the weekend of May 3-4, 2014, and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on the weekend of May 17-18, 2014. The Triple Beat Battle was only held on the first day of each weekend. An exclusive English Sheen Holofoil print of the card was released on June 25, 2014 in the Pyroar Box. It was reprinted again in the Japanese M Master Deck Build Box Power Style released on August 7, 2015.

This card was reprinted in Japan as its previous Regular print and also as a Full Art card with new artwork by the same artist, released in The Best of XY subset. The Full Art print was later released in English as one of the Yellow A Alternate cards included in the Premium Trainer's XY Collection released October 20, 2017. The Regular print was reprinted in the Japanese Extra Regulation Box released on October 4, 2019.
