Wring Out (Japanese: しぼりとる Wring Out) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Generation IV
Wring Out deals damage. Its power varies between 1 and 121, and is greater the more HP the target has:
- Power = 1 + 120 × (Target's Current HP / Target's Maximum HP)
Generation V onward
Wring Out's power is now calculated as
- Power = 120 × (Target's Current HP / Target's Maximum HP)
However, its power cannot be less than 1. Consequently, its power now varies between 1 and 120.
