Mega Evolution Pokédex (Japanese: マノンのメガシンカ絵日記 Mairin's Mega Evolution Journal) is a series of shorts that introduce mostly Mega Pokémon that debuted in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It originally aired as a post-credits segment of the original version of the anime's XY series. They aired from Battling Into the Hall of Fame! to Facing the Grand Design! (including the delayed An Undersea Place to Call Home!), and are comparable with Professor Oak's Pokémon Holo Caster. The segments were dubbed and aired on Pokémon.com's Pokémon TV.

The Mega Evolution Pokédex features chibi versions Mairin and Chespie as they present the shorts and commentated. Usually, Alain and his Mega Charizard X join in and co-commentate. These Pokémon are often ones that Alain and Charizard fought during their journey.

Sometimes, instead of Mairin, Steven appears to present instead. Steven's lectures often feature Legendary Pokémon, such as Mega Latias and Latios. XY044 and XY054's lectures were provided by the narrator of the Mega Evolution specials. Mairin's Mega Evolution Journal only played on the initial airings of episodes. All subsequent airings use Professor Oak's Pokémon Holo Caster.
