Trump Card (Japanese: きりふだ Trump Card) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Trump Card doesn't have a standard power; rather, it inflicts greater damage when Trump Card's PP is lower. Trump Card's power is calculated as follows:

When Trump Card is chosen by a random move generator such as Metronome or Assist, it will instead use the PP of that move with the same chart applying.

Trivia

• When Trump Card is used with 1 PP remaining by an Eevee with Adaptability, that is holding a Life Orb and being boosted by a tag partner's Helping Hand, it will have a base Power of 780, one of the highest possible.
• Oshawott and its evolutions are the only Generation V Pokémon capable of knowing this move naturally.
