  • Her Japanese Leader title is 大空の ぶっとびガール.
  • She shares characteristics with another Gym Leader, Winona. They are both female Flying-type specialists and are both the sixth Gym Leader to be battled in their respective regions. They also happen to live near rainy areas.
  • Her "hair barrette" resembles an airplane propeller.

Japanese フウロ Fuuro From 風露草 (フウロソウ) fūrosō, the geranium genus of plants; possibly from 風炉 fūro, wind furnace. Contains 風 , wind, referencing her type of choice.
