Psystrike (move)

(Japanese: サイコブレイク Psycho Break) is a damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V. It is the signature move of Mewtwo.

Effect

In battle

Psycho Break inflicts damage. Although being classified as Special move, this move calculates damage using the user's Special Attack and the opponent's Defense stat.

#   Pokémon Type Level 0150 Mewtwo Psychic 100 Bold indicates a Pokémon which gets STAB from this move. Italic indicates a Pokémon whose evolution or alternate form gets STAB from this move.

Trivia

• Mewtwo did not receive this signature move until Generation V, when it became the only Pokémon able to learn this move. Most other legendary Pokémon that are its equal in terms of base stat totals have a signature move.
• This move is a stronger version of Psycho Shock.
